MOOVIN, a hidden gem of a music festival, is set in beautiful natural surroundings near Stockport. The festival takes place over the August bank holiday weekend each year, and attracts around 5,000 music fans who come to experience a diverse line-up of artists from various genres, including reggae, funk, hip hop and more.
The festival organisers wanted to capture the excitement and success of the festival, in order to remind the revellers of their experience once it was all over and a distant memory. It was decided this was best captured in video, creating post event content to be shared on social media.
The video would in turn create interest for successive MOOVIN events and contribute to the following years Marketing Strategy to promote the festival and generate ticket sales. The assets produced would be sliced and diced as appropriate for multiple Social Media Platforms to provide the content most relevant to the target audience.
The festival’s post-event film received an enthusiastic response on social media, with over 20,000 views. Building on this success, we subsequently created additional short-form content to advertise specific artists and upcoming festivals. This helped to ensure that MOOVIN continues to grow and sell out year on year. The festival now has approximately 35,000 followers across its social media channels.
